The NovaCity mission is to make global solutions available to local communities and regional collectives by reducing the cost and complexity of systems integration, reducing dependency upon proprietary technologies, and creating organizational cultures focused on capability, empowerment, and sustainability.
Our solution approach includes three categories of contribution:
Technology
NovaCity Open Digital Environment (NODE) includes a distributed hybrid cloud computing data platform, ontological components developed by the FIWARE Foundation, modular connectors for applications and AI, and Kubernetes container orchestration.
Service
NovaCity provides Enablement Services to support the implementation of NODE and connectivity with external/legacy systems.
The purpose of our Enablement Services is to strengthen knowledge and capability for government and technology partners, thus helping reduce cost and complexity associated with proprietary technologies and lengthy systems integration projects.
Ecosystem
We contribute to open source project stewardship including design and development of sharable technology components.
Additionally, we collaborate extensively
with domestic and international nonprofit organizations and standards bodies.
